THEORETICAL CAMPAIGN

For 50 years, Formula one has been the pinnacle of road racing. Making daily developments in engineering for the sake of being the fastest person on the grid. Little developments that start as a way to gain a half-second on the competition have blossomed into some of the most advanced machines in the world.

While obtaining my degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design, we were often presented with scenarios including real life clients. The goal of this campaign was to bring awareness to the sport and celebrate the beauty behind the design and engineering feats in Formula 1‘s history. Highlighting the beauty behind the engineering of the cars, the competition, and the ferocity of the race track.

The design represents this with the use of well-rendered line art, technical-style drawing accents, and quick, yet stable imagery. It was also carried across multiple mediums including posters, race passes, and safety car livery.
